FUNDRAISING IS AS EASY AS 1, 2, 3

  1. Determine how many coupon books each participant will sell to meet your fundraising goal and order from Sunset Coupons by phone or use your official purchase order.


  2. Distribute books to each participant setting a deadline of 2 to 3 weeks. Have participants sign for their allotment of books.


  3. Collect money and any unsold books. Send any unsold books along with a check for the number of books sold times $5 to Sunset Coupons.

SET A DEADLINE
Your campaign should run a maximum of 3 weeks. Keeping the campaign short will keep your participants focused and on track.

MOTIVATE YOUR GROUP
It is important to maintain close and constant contact with your group members. Motivate and encourage them constantly. This will often times determine the success of your fundraiser.

PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION
List each participant’s name and have them sign for their books. Give them an envelope for their money. Mark the list when they turn in their money. For those who would sell in excess of their assigned number of books, they may use one book to show as a sample, collect for the sales and then get the extra books from the chairperson.

PARTICIPANT INCENTIVES
Not all fundraising campaigns need additional incentives to motivate participants. Many youth sports leagues have successful campaigns by merely requiring it’s members to sell a certain quota. However, some effective and fun ideas for motivation are cash prizes, amusement park admissions, or the coach/teacher agrees to wear a silly costume or weird hairdo if sales goals are met. You probably have some good ideas of your own.
